Ram Sagar

Ram Sagar, a non artificial lake is the largest water tank at Dinajpur district where one can find natural beauty of lake, artificial Zoo and a park etc. This is the nice place to walk besides the lake at specially morning and evening as well as a nice picnic spot for tourists. It is an eye catching lovely place for nature lover!  The lake is surrounded by red color soil (Lalmati) highlands, parks, gardens, many sculptures of animals and birds. Can also enjoy fishing and boating here. Every year lots of guest birds come here from cold countries, so it would be very attractive place for photographer. Beside this place you will also find a 'Shal' forest.

    • How to get there

      You can hire an auto-rickshaw from Dinajpur town and that will take 30 minutes to reach at the Ram Sagar Dighi.  Alternatively, you can take a microbus for family tour.

    • Where to stay

      You can find a rest house there and some recreation spots for children. As well as there are 'Porjoton Motel' and many other hotels and restaurants located at Dinajpur city to stay at night.
